Privacy policy

Editly AI ("Editly", "we") is a desktop application that edits photos inside Adobe Lightroom Classic using a model trained on your own editing. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, name and country, and a one-time code sent to your email to verify it.
• Your devices: an identifier of each computer your account is used on, because an account works on up to two devices.
• Photos you send for editing: to edit a shoot, the app sends a small (512-pixel) preview of each photo and its camera details to our server, where the model predicts the edit. We keep a copy of these previews and of the settings Editly applied for your most recent shoots, so we can support you and improve the service for you.
• Photos you send for training: to train a style profile, the app sends the same small previews together with the settings from your catalog. We keep them with your profile; the profile belongs to your account.
• Messages you send us: if you rate a shoot or write to us from the app or the website, we keep your message and any photos you attach to it, so we can answer you and improve the service.
• Usage records: how many photos you edited or trained, when, and on which device, so we can run your plan and support you.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number; we keep the payment reference and amount.

What we don't do

• We never copy or upload your original RAW files. They stay on your computer.
• We do not use your photos to train models for other customers, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone except the services needed to run Editly (hosting and payments).
• We do not show ads.

Website analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, Meta Pixel and Metricool to measure visits and the results of our advertising. They may set cookies and collect your IP address, browser details and the pages you open, under their own privacy policies. You can limit this with your browser's cookie or tracking settings. The contact form is delivered through Web3Forms. None of this is used inside the app.

Where data lives

Our servers run on RunPod (EU), with backups on Backblaze B2. The website and the app's connection to our servers go through Cloudflare. All transfers are encrypted.

Your choices

You can see your usage from My account in the app. To change a device, or to delete your account and all of its data, write to us from the address on the account using the contact form on the home page; we complete deletions within 14 days.
